SOPHIE
Sophie is a 13 y/o Appaloosa x Quarter Horse mare. She has been with us for 6 years and has helped many students learn about horses and riding. Sophie is a highly versatile horse, suitable for the absolute beginner, novice, nervous or very young rider. Sophie is a wonderful mount for lead line riders, and will negotiate the trail course calmly and patiently, however, with a more experienced rider, Sophie does 'liven up' over fences and jumps very nicely.
SNOOPY
Snoopy is approximately 30 years old and is an Appaloosa X Arabian gelding. He has been with us for nearly 5 years and has been an asset to the lesson programme. Snoopy is a sensible but forward ride, suitable for beginner, novice and advanced riders. Due to his advancing years Snoopy has a strictly enforced weight limit for his riders, and is available for limited lesson use. WE LOVE YOU SNOOPY!
RIP RAINBOW
We lost Rainbow to a sudden and severe colic during the afternoon of Monday 18th May 2009. Rainbow was with us for just 2 1/2 months, but in that time she gave us a lot of pleasure and was a fun pony to ride. We are grateful for the time we had to spend with her. Rainbow will be greatly missed.
TEDDY BEAR
Teddy Bear (registered name Agapes Montana Doc) is a 10 year old Quarter horse gelding. Teddy has had extensive experience competing in hunter/jumper, dressage, western pleasure, horsemanship, trail and some reining, cutting and cattle work over the past 5 years that we have owned him. Teddy is now retired from regular competition and has become a valuable asset to the lesson programme.
SCOUT
Scout (registered name EMS Cowboy) is an 18 year old Quarter Horse gelding. Scout has been ridden and shown both English (including dressage and h/j) and Western and is a blue ribbon winner many times over. Scout has been with us for 6 years and is suitable for beginner/novice through advanced riders.
JUNIOR
Junior is a 13 y/o paint gelding who excels in western events, including trail, showmanship and horsemanship. Junior also goes under English tack, including working over fences. Junior has been shown in both english (jumping and dressage) and most western disciplines and has an abundance of blue ribbons. Junior is forward but very sensible, and is therefore suitable for beginner/novice through advanced riders. JUNIOR IS A SPECIAL BOY!
