Our goal is to make our Day Camp participants' experience one they will remember for a life time. Safety is one of our main priorities. Our mission is to teach children horse back riding skills, horse safety and build their confidence while working with and riding horses. Children will gain knowledge and skills caring for the horse, grooming, doing barn chores, and using equipment (tack). There will be lessons and trail rides. Children will have the opportunity to learn how negotiate trail obstacles, learn gymkhana games and complete a course of ‘mini’ jumps. Alternative activities are available in case of inclement weather, including horse-related games, quizzes and competitions, educational DVD’s, and visits to local tack and feed stores.  Whether for summer fun or possibly a long-term relationship with horses, Horse Sense Day Camps will educate your child with many important life lessons and skills.
